UK Parliament on Lock Down and Under Attack People Fleeing, Gun Shots and Three Dead

The UK Parliament is on lock-down, the UK Media is reporting multiple injuries with one person dead. The incident happened outside of UK Parliament and is being treated as a terrorist attack until they know otherwise.

Sources say the assailant plowed his car through pedestrians on the Westminster Bridge injuring multiple people. An officer was stabbed and the police was able to tackle and apprehended the assailant.

The area around Parliament is on completed lock down and people in Parliament are not allowed to leave the building

The London Mayor Statement on UK Attack

“There has been a serious incident near to Parliament Square this afternoon which is being treated as a terrorist attack until the police know otherwise. He also said “I have spoken to the acting commissioner. The Metropolitan police service is dealing with the incident and an urgent investigation is underway. My thoughts are with those affected and their families. Mayor of London Sidiq Khan

Later the U.S. Embassy issued this message to the Citizens in London:

“The U.S. embassy in London informs U.S. citizens that there has been a security incident on Westminster Bridge near parliament. U.S. citizens should heed guidance from local authorities and maintain security awareness

“We strongly encourage U.S, citizens in the United Kingdom to directly contact concerned family members in the United States to advise them of your safety"

Rex Tillerson Secretary of State issued this Statement

“On behalf of the United States I express my condolences to the victims and their families; The American people send their thoughts and prayers to the people of the United Kingdom. We condemn these horrific acts of violence and whether they were carried out by trouble individuals are by terrorist the victims know no difference.

This Violence has got to stop! It's time to get Serious about Terrorism. Our Condolences go out to the people of the UK. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
