There has been an all-time high in the number of people interested in joining the United States Secret Service. An exclusive story from Fox News states that between January 20, 2025, and May 1, 2025, the DHS saw a 214% increase in applications compared to the same period in the previous year. The number of applicants increased from around 7,000 in 2024 to 22,000 this year, all because of the Trump administration.

Miller reflected on his employment practices, which were based on elite standards, as a former Marine Corps officer and police officer. He asserts, "Many now aspire to be among the best of the best."
This resurgence of curiosity follows the Secret Service's tight escapes from two attempted assassinations of President Trump.
