Following the wrestling legend's passing on Thursday, President Trump praised Hulk Hogan, referring to him as "MAGA all the way."

At the age of 71, Hulk Hogan passed away at his Clearwater, Florida, home on Thursday due to cardiac arrest. TMZ initially reported the news. In a Truth Social post, President Trump lauded Hogan, describing him as "strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart." He also added that his speech at the RNC was a huge highlight. Hogan received a standing ovation at the 2024 conference as he theatrically tore off his shirt to show a “Trump, Vance—Make America Great Again! 2024” graphic and denounced criticisms of Trump.

Shortly after Hogan's passing, President Trump, who considered him a close friend and political ally, paid tribute to the wrestling legend. Trump posted on Truth Social, saying, "Today we lost a great friend, the 'Hulkster.' Strong, resilient, and intelligent, yet with the largest heart, Hulk Hogan was unstoppable.

"One of the highlights of the entire week was his speech at the Republican National Convention, which was absolutely electrifying," Trump continued. He had a huge cultural effect and delighted fans from all over the world. We send our love and best wishes to his wife, Sky, and family. We will really miss Hulk Hogan!

One of the most talked-about aspects of the 2024 RNC was Hogan's unexpected attendance in Milwaukee. He voiced his anger at the assaults on Trump and his family, especially the most recent murder attempt, in a vehement address. "You know, I think about Donald Trump and how his family was compromised when I look out and see all the real Americans. I consider how his business was compromised whenever I see Donald Trump outside," Hogan remarked.

Before ripping off his shirt to reveal another reading: "Make America Great Again, Trump, Vance 2024!”, he said, "But what happened last week when they took a shot at my hero and they tried to kill the next president of the United States, enough is enough."

Many people praised Hogan's dramatic and sincere display of support after the gesture, which got the crowd to stand, went viral right after.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Hogan contributed to the WWE's transformation into a major force in the world of entertainment, earning recognition for decades as the face of professional wrestling. He became one of the most identifiable personalities in American pop culture thanks to his distinctive appearance, which included yellow trunks, a bandana, a handlebar mustache, and catchphrases like "Whatcha gonna do?" In addition to wrestling, he hosted TV shows, starred in films, and left an imprint on generations.

Hogan was more than just a wrestler to his followers; he was a representation of fortitude, tenacity, and charismatic American charm. He also remained a fervent backer of the MAGA movement to the very last, according to Trump and his followers.
