Cubans Take to the Streets to Protest Communism: A Model for the U.S.
Cubans have had more than enough with the dictatorship which now dominates their lives! On Sunday thousands of Cubans marched the streets to demonstrate against the communist regime responsible for a growing list of human rights abuses, worsening economic conditions, and a lack of freedom which has become a normal way of life in their communist-ruled country. Numerous social media videos have surfaced showing demonstrations in several towns and cities where protesters were chanting “weren’t afraid,” a reference directed at the Miguel Diaz Canel regime. The growing demonstrations come amidst reports of gas, electricity, and vaccine shortages all across the Caribbean island nation. Chants of “down with the dictatorship,” and “freedom” could be heard all through the streets.
