Why Are More Vaccinated People Dying than Those who are Unvaccinated?

Many Americans concerned about the lack of data surrounding vaccine harm statistics may have missed the Washington Post’s Nov. 2022 article entitled “Covid is no longer mainly a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Here’s why.”  The article clearly stated: “For the first time, a majority of Americans dying from the coronavirus received at least the primary series of the vaccine.”

In fact, The Health 202 by Cynthia Cox, vice president at the Kaiser Family Foundation, had recently conducted an analysis showing that “Fifty-eight percent of coronavirus deaths in August (2022) were people who were vaccinated or boosted.” Many may have forgotten about Biden’s prior claim: “If you are vaccinated and you had your booster shot, you’re protected from severe illness and death — period,” he said.

However, just shortly after Biden’s claim, studies showed that a growing number of adults dying of COVID-19 were vaccinated or boosted. Often, the explanation about why more of the vaccinated are dying than the unvaccinated, according to health policy research data, is simply because over 79% of the population completed at least the primary series of vaccination.
