President Trump Set to Ban Mail-in Ballots and Voting Machines Ahead of the Mid-Term Elections

President Trump declared on Monday that he will spearhead a campaign to "get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS" and outlaw voting machines, claiming they are both erroneous and susceptible to fraud. Prior to the 2026 midterm elections, Trump stated that he intends to issue an executive order mandating paper ballots in an effort to restore "honesty and integrity" to elections.

Trump noted that the United States is "the only Country in the World that uses Mail-In Voting" because of mail-in ballots and voting machines, and that other countries have stopped using the practice due to "MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD ENCOUNTERED."

He asserted that the federal government has the power to compel states to comply, saying that Democrats would resist the move because "they cheat at levels never seen before" and that "they must do what the Federal Government, as represented by the President of the United States tells them."

Trump said that Republicans would “fight like hell to bring honesty and integrity back to our elections,” adding, “without fair and honest elections, and strong and powerful borders, you don’t have even a semblance of a country.”

Trump attacked the two systems in a long article on Truth Social, calling them weak, costly, and corrupt. He claimed that in order to secure elections, the country needed to switch back to paper ballots with watermarks.

Trump wrote, "I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we're at it, Highly 'Inaccurate,' Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES." He also added that voting machines "cost Ten Times more than accurate and sophisticated Watermark Paper, which is faster, and leaves NO DOUBT, at the end of the evening, as to who WON, and who LOST, the Election."

Trump promised to sign an executive order to start the process, stating that it would be focused on the 2026 midterm elections. Democrats will be fiercely against the idea, he underlined, saying they "cheat at levels never seen before" and depend on mail-in ballots to remain competitive. He contended that "everyone, especially the Democrats, knows that elections with mail-in ballots and voting can never be honest."

The president connected his plan to more general Republican principles on national integrity, cultural concerns, and border security. "Democrats are practically unelected without using this totally debunked Mail-In SCAM, with their HORRIBLE Radical Left policies, like Open Borders, Men Playing in Women's Sports, Transgender and 'WOKE' for everyone, and so much more," Trump said.

"The Mail-In Ballot Hoax, using voting machines that are a complete and total disaster, must end, NOW!!!" Trump concluded his speech, highlighting the idea as a key component of his battle for election integrity.
