President Trump Declares “TOTAL VICTORY” in Letitia James Political Witch Hunt

After a New York appeals court threw out the $500 million fraud fine against him, President Trump announced "TOTAL VICTORY" on Thursday. He called Letitia James' case a "Political Witch Hunt" and said the result was evidence of Democrat lawfare. Trump said that the appeals court's decision proved that the fraud case was a "Political Witch Hunt." He called James "a Trump Deranged Lunatic" who was trying to hurt his political career.
Trump said in his postings that James, Engoron, and other Democrats were behind "Election Interference" and called the penalty "the outrageous sum, which never happened before, and which cost me Millions of Dollars a month."
Trump further linked the case to a larger campaign of lawfare that he alleges was planned with the Biden-Harris campaign. He said, "These were all Political Trials in an effort to destroy my viability as a Presidential Candidate before, during, and after the Election."
After the New York appeals court threw down the more than half-billion-dollar punishment in Attorney General Letitia James' fraud case on Thursday, President Donald Trump conducted a victory lap. Trump took to Truth Social, declaring the decision "TOTAL VICTORY in the FAKE New York State Attorney General Letitia James Case!"
The president said that the appeals judges had the "courage" to throw down what he called an "unlawful and disgraceful decision." Trump said that the lawsuit was clearly politically motivated, saying, "It was a Political Witch Hunt, in a business sense, the likes of which no one has ever seen before." The city and state were attempting to unlawfully prove that I did things wrong during the election, yet everything I did was right and even perfect.
Trump personally attacked James, calling her "a corrupt and incompetent Attorney General who only brought this case to hurt me politically." She is a crazy person who hates Trump! He also made fun of how Engoron ran the trial, saying he never got a jury and that "the amount, including interest and penalties, was over $550 million."
The president said that Judge David Friedman's remarks about the sentencing being too harsh were proof of his argument. "Even the Editorial Boards said, 'DON'T DO THIS!'" Trump stressed this point while calling the amount "the most outrageous sum" ever assessed in such a case.
Trump didn't only go after James and Engoron. He said in his next tweet that the verdict was part of a bigger struggle against "lawfare" that he blamed on Democrats in Washington. "These were all political trials meant to ruin my chances of becoming President before, during, and after the election." Trump added, "They were very well coordinated with the Biden/Harris Campaign, and they will go down in History as some of the most Corrupt Cases ever brought."
Trump said that the prosecutions were "an attack by the Biden/Harris Administration on their Political Opponent, ME." He said he not only survived but thrived: "It is such an Honor to have withstood it, thrived, and even become President of the United States despite the horrible things that were done to me."
The president complimented his son Eric Trump and the Trump Organization team for "fighting so hard for Justice," and he praised his legal staff for sticking fast. He ended by saying, "This is a Great Day for New York City and State!"
