Although Comer has admitted that any subpoena would probably encounter strong legal opposition, he maintains that the investigation will go on until the disparities are clarified, whether by his committee or the House Ethics panel.
According to a Rose Lake representative, Mynett made less than $20,000 from his holdings last year. The spokesperson argues that the reports are based on gross asset valuations rather than income.
