Biden Admin Facing Allegations of Obstructing Sex-trafficking Probe

There are claims that the Biden administration is impeding inquiries into the exploitation and trafficking of children who are unaccompanied migrants. According to a Senate report, widespread misuse results from structural flaws and the obstruction of state and federal investigations.

According to a report released by Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, the administration's shortcomings hampered supervision efforts and resulted in the abuse of unaccompanied migrant children.

Health and Human Services (HHS) was accused by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of ignoring subpoenas, refusing to comply with investigations, and hiding important information. Tens of thousands of migrant children have apparently been lost from federal agencies' records since 2019, which has increased worries about trafficking and exploitation.
