House Minority Leader McCarthy Seems To Push Back Against the Impeachment of Joe Biden

Promises, promises, promises! Is this a time for more promises from our Republican leaders? We think not! One Republican after the next have made their debut appearances across various media outlets to highlight the growing failures of the Biden regime. Yet, we have House minority leader Kevin McCarthy repeatedly pushing back on calls for impeaching Biden over his handling of Afghanistan, idly promising that Biden’s “day of reckoning” is coming.

McCarthy told reporters at The Hill: “Look, I’m extremely frustrated with the president. As I said, if you want to be president of the free world, you have to have the trust, faith and confidence of the American public. President Biden lost that yesterday.” Despite his lost of trust in Joe Biden, McCarthy did not join the calls of his fellow Republicans for his impeachment.

And we do well to remember that McCarthy has also repeatedly pushed back against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s push to impeach Joe Biden as well. Despite growing pressure from grassroots conservatives and even some of the Democrats, it seems like the Republicans are dragging their feet once again.

With fresh blood on the hands of the Biden regime, Republicans are just “discussing” and “preparing” for calls of impeachment while seeking out excuses. Instead of focusing on the “head of the snake,” Joe Biden, Republicans are focusing their aim on secretary of state Antony Blinken, who was asked to testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
