Shana Chappell, the mother of Lance Corporal Kareem Nikoui who was killed by an ISIS suicide bomber at Hamid Karazai international Airport last Thursday, voiced her grievances on Facebook and Instagram; criticizing the Biden administration’s handling of the Afghanistan evacuation which resulted in the death of her son. Shortly after Chappell’s posts started going viral, Facebook removed her post on Monday night and Instagram disabled her account, according to an article in The Washington Beacon

While Instagram has since restored Chappell’s account, she posted afterwards that Instagram began pulling her old posts and warned her that her account would be deleted if she continued posting.

In the initial post that Facebook and Instagram removed, Chappell claims that Biden interrupted her as she tried to speak to him about her son at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware, during the transfer ceremony of the service members’ remains, according to a U.S.S.A. News report. In the post that Facebook removed, and then later restored, Chappell wrote (Facebook post), in reference to Biden, “You then rolled your f***ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and you threw your hands up behind you as you walked away from me like you were saying ‘ok whatever.’”

Other family members of the fallen servicemen also expressed their frustration with Biden’s response, with one sister of a fallen soldier saying that Biden’s remarks were “scripted and shallow,” according to the previously quoted U.S.S.A. report.
