Investigation Opened Into Illegal Ballot Harvesting in the Georgia 2020 Election

In a Just the News report Brad Raffensperger confirmed that Georgia authorities may soon issue subpoenas to secure evidence for allegations surrounding systematic ballot harvesting during the state’s 2020 general election including the U.S. Senate runoff. The conservative voter integrity group “True the Vote” issued Raffensperger’s office a detailed complaint on Nov. 30, 2020. Raffensperger had recently reviewed and rejected claims by President Trump of widespread fraud during the 2020 election.

However, the conservative voter integrity group True the Vote, assembled evidence that showing activists working with nonprofit groups to collect and deliver thousands of absentee ballots, often during the wee-hour operations to drop boxes around the state during the pandemic. Surpassing the claims of conspiracy, the “evidence included video footage from surveillance cameras placed by counties outside the drop boxes as well as geolocation data for the cell phones of more than 200 activists, showing the dates and times of ballot drop-offs,” according to a detailed True The Vote article.

One unidentified Georgia man who was interviewed by the True The Vote group admitted that he was paid thousands of dollars to harvest ballots in the Atlanta metropolitan area during the November election and the lead-up to Jan. 5, 2021 runoff for Georgia’s two Senate seats, which were both captured by Democrats and ended GOP control of Congress.

The only problem with this investigation is that it appears to be in the very hands of a guilty party.
