AG Garland Dodges Questions About Committing to An Ethics Review Investigation
After Republicans noted conflict of interest concerns involving Attorney General Merrick Garland’s son-in-law’s left-wing education company in the wake of his DOJ memo, Garland was repeatedly asked if he would commit to an ethics review. According to one news report, “Garland at least three times refused to say whether he had already submitted himself to an ethics review and refused to commit to any future ethics review on the issue during questioning by Republican Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday.”
Today, Garland was repeatedly asked again during a hearing before Congress if he would commit to an ethics investigation (See Video), and once again, he stonewalled and doubled down on his talking points. However, the fact that Garland’s daughter is married to the cofounder of a critical race theory social learning company, has created a fishy smell that can’t be avoided by the Biden DOJ forever!
