Good Riddens: Cuomo Alleged Killer of NY Rest Home Elderly Resigns
In a bizarre turn of events, New York governor, Andrew Cuomo announced his plans to resign just a week after the investigation which revealed that he sexually harassed 11 women. Strangely, his announcement came just minutes after his lawyer had flatly denied the claims against him!
The “straw that broke the camel’s back” could have possibly included the fact that, in addition to the current investigation involving 11 women, there are at least five district attorney’s offices around the state that have also begun probes of alleged crimes by Cuomo against some of the women included in the case. It appears that Cuomo is the latest example of how easily Democrats will “eat their own” whenever they seek to protect their status quo narrative, as most of his allies have abandoned him amidst the allegations!
Cuomo’s lame-duck excuse was that he decided to step down to avoid months of distractions for the state, which continues to deal with the COVID pandemic, according to one news source. However, we will never forget Cumo’s mandate to add people infected with the China Virus in with the elderly, resulting in the deaths of thousands.
For years, conservative figures, small business owners, and everyday citizens have argued that the federal legal apparatus served as a partisan weapon. Now, the administration is turning that grievance into direct federal action.
