Petition Signed by Millions to Free Illegal Alien Trucker Charged in Deadly Florida Crash

A Change.org petition with over two million signatures calls for mercy for Harjinder Singh, a 28-year-old Indian illegal alien truck driver accused of murdering three people in a Florida Turnpike collision. After doing an unlawful U-turn in his tractor trailer on August 12, Singh may spend up to 45 years in jail. Singh was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals in California after the collision and then extradited back to stand trial on three charges of vehicular murder.

As of Sunday morning, 2.2 million people have signed the petition, which urges Governor Ron DeSantis to reduce Singh's possible sentence and maintains that the occurrence was a "tragic accident — not a deliberate act."
