Democrat Rep. Man Posing as a Woman Implies that Election Integrity Efforts are an Assault on Democracy

The Democratic representative for Delaware, Sarah McBride, who is a guy but identifies as a woman, made the accusation on Monday that President Trump is carrying out an "all-out assault" on the democratic process in the United States because of his proposal to prohibit voting machines and mail-in ballots.

McBride made the accusation that Trump was attempting to destroy democracy in a post that she published on X on Monday evening. In the post, he wrote that "a president with popular policies wouldn't need to ban voting machines or abolish vote-by-mail."

In addition, McBride asserted that the measures proposed by Trump constitute "an all-out assault not just on free and fair elections—but on American democracy itself."

According to Trump, mail-in voting and voting machines should be eliminated because they are "highly inaccurate, very expensive, and seriously controversial" in comparison to secure paper ballots. Trump rejected this line of attack and presented a lengthy argument on Truth Social for why these voting methods should be eliminated.

Rep. Sarah McBride, a Democrat from Delaware who identifies as a woman, has accused President Donald Trump of launching an "all-out assault" on democracy. This accusation is based on Trump's promise to do away with electronic voting machines and mail-in ballots. In a post that McBride made on X, he stated that Trump's actions demonstrated a lack of strength. He stated, "Let's be clear: a president with popular policies wouldn't need to illegally gerrymander districts, ban voting machines, or abolish vote-by-mail."

His comments came just a few hours after Trump had gone into greater detail about his strategy for election integrity in a lengthy post on Truth Social. In the run-up to the midterm elections in 2026, President Trump made a commitment to sign an executive order that would require the termination of both practices at the federal level.

The following is an excerpt from a letter that President Trump wrote: "I am going to lead a movement to get rid of MAIL-IN BALLOTS, and also, while we're at it, Highly 'Inaccurate,' Very Expensive, and Seriously Controversial VOTING MACHINES." He suggested that the use of paper ballots that were both secure and watermarked would erase any question and restore faith in the electoral process.

The 45th and 47th president made it very obvious that his initiative would be met with vehement opposition from Democrats. He wrote that Democrats "cheat at levels never seen before" and are "virtually unelectable" in the absence of mail-in ballots. He made a connection between the importance of mail-in voting and what he referred to as the "horrible radical left policies" of the Democrats, which included policies such as "open borders," "men playing in women's sports," "transgender and 'WOKE' for everyone," and a great deal more.

At the end of his remarks, Trump issued a warning, saying, "Elections can never be honest with mail in ballots or voting, and everybody, especially the Democrats, is aware of this." Both I and the Republican Party are committed to putting up a fierce fight in order to restore honesty and integrity to our electoral process.
