Homeland Security Releases Memorandum Expanding Illegal Immigrant “No Arrest” Zones

On Wednesday, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas released a memorandum outlining “protected areas” where immigration officials are barred from arresting illegal immigrants.

The memorandum, which was prepared for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, outlines “protected areas” where officers were barred from detaining people in the country illegally. Interestingly, these areas were previously called “sensitive locations” which included churches, hospitals, and schools.

The locations are now being referred to as “protected areas.” Mayorkas added social services establishments like homeless shelters, anywhere disaster or emergency relief is being provided, and places where children gather, including playgrounds, childcare centers, and school bus stops”, according to The Epoch Times.

With over 2,000 migrants marching towards the US-Mexico border, why on earth would the Biden regime focus their efforts on creating “protected areas” for illegal aliens?
