Shocking Turn in Rittenhouse Case as Witness Admits to Pointing a Gun At Kyle Rittenhouse First
No doubt, we probably all have seen the viral image of the prosecutor in the Kyle Rittenhouse case palming his face as the state’s main witness made the shocking admission that he pointed a gun at Kyle Rittenhouse first. The state’s key witness, Gaige Grosskreutz, took the stand and was asked by Rittenhouse’s defense lawyer: “It wasn’t until you pointed your gun at him, advanced on him, with your gun – now your hand’s down in the video, pointed at him – that he fired, right?” Grosskreutz replied: “Correct.”
Adding even more reasons why the Rittenhouse trial should be over at this point, “Grosskreutz was also carrying his handgun holstered in the small of his back and his conceal-carry permit was expired at the time,” according to a Conservative Brief report. While the case against Grosskreutz seems to be pretty much over after his admission, Rittenhouse still faces additional 5 counts which includes murder charges in the Aug. 25 deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber.
However many “Legal experts say under Wisconsin law he has a strong case,” according to the Conservative Brief report. According to one USA News report, “some legal experts said it doesn’t matter why Rittenhouse went to Kenosha, only whether or not he had a legal right to shoot others to defend himself.” In another Conservative Brief article, Andrew Branca, a Colorado lawyer, also believes that “Rittenhouse has a strong defense and will be acquitted on the merits of that defense, adding that there are no guarantees in trials.”
Recent court video reveals a very emotional testimony from Rittenhouse as he struggled to relive the horrendous night he was forced to defend himself as members of Black Lives Matters and perhaps ANTIFA allegedly threatened his life, forcing the string of events that now threatens his very freedom.
