Joe Biden Explicitly Warned of Afghanistan Collapse in July State Department Memo

Prior to the Biden regime’s dismal Afghanistan failure, two dozen State Department officials serving at the embassy in Kabul sent an internal memo to Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warning of the imminent collapse of Kabul, according to a Wall Street Journal report. The memo warned that the Taliban would rapidly gain control of Afghanistan while offering “recommendations on ways to mitigate the crisis and speed up an evacuation.”

Just five days prior, Joe Biden expressly stated that “Kabul would not be another repeat of Saigon in 1975” when asked if he saw any parallels between this withdrawal and what happened in Vietnam. Biden’s reply was “None whatsoever. Zero.” It’s safe to say that he was partially right because his administration’s failure has the future potential to be much worse!

With thousands of poorly vetted Afghans now flooding into the U.S. and many American citizens still left behind in Afghanistan, there is yet to be any measure of accountability for the fact that Biden himself and other administration officials, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley actually “denied that the memo intelligence existed.”
