The View Co-hosts Test Positive for COVID Minutes Before Kamala Harris Appearance

Just minutes before Kamala Harris was set to go on “The View” Friday, two of its co-hosts, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro tested positive for COVID-19, joining the ranks of a growing number of “break-through cases,” as they were allegedly fully vaccinated. According to a News Max report, “Joy Behar was introducing Harris when Hostin and Navarro, who had both been vaccinated, were abruptly asked to leave the set of "The View." The show then cut to a commercial break and when it returned, Behar revealed that her two co-hosts had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Although Harris still was able to appear on the show remotely from a different studio inside the ABC building, Harris made an attempt to spin the topic as if Hostin and Navarro’s positive COVID-19 test was a reason for getting vaccinated, despite the fact that they were fully vaccinated by saying, "Sunny and Ana are strong women, and I know they're fine, but it really also does speak to the fact that they're vaccinated and vaccines really make all the difference because otherwise we would be concerned about hospitalization and worse."

As Kamal’s interview continued, it was obvious that the objective was to promote a race-baiting

narrative surrounding the border crisis as she promoted the spin: "Sunny and Ana are strong women, and I know they're fine, but it really also does speak to the fact that they're vaccinated and vaccines really make all the difference because otherwise we would be concerned about hospitalization and worse," Harris said when she did appear on the show.”
