The Jan. 6 ‘War on Conservatives’ Committee Seeks to Bring False Claims of Contempt Against Dan Scavino
Former White House communications official Dan Scavino appears to be the next conservative victim caught within the crosshairs of the January 6 Committee’s reportedly nefarious witch-hunting expedition. According to a Breitbart report, “The January 6 Committee voted to recommend Monday that former White House communications official Dan Scavino be held in criminal contempt of Congress, based on false claims by the committee that Scavino refused to comply with it.”
Exposing the Committee’s claims as purely false, “Correspondence reviewed by Breitbart News indicates clearly that Scavino’s attorneys informed the committee that he was willing to cooperate, but was concerned about violating executive privilege, and the unclear scope of requested testimony.”
We can expect that the Jan. 6 “Witch Hunt Committee” will be turning up the pressure with its deceptive tactics as we grow closer to the November midterm elections. But we can be assured that this scam committee is quickly approaching the end of its days of targeting conservatives.
Breitibart noted, “Other Trump officials who have been targeted by the committee have sued it, alleging that it is in violation of the terms of its own enabling resolution, which calls for five Republican members (out of 13 total). Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took the unprecedented step of rejecting House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s recommended list of Republican participants, and appointed only two Republicans — Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) — alongside seven Democrats.”
