Big Pharma Pfizer Inc. Behind Funding for Facebook Fact-Checking Partner
Have you ever wondered about the nefarious players who are behind the scenes orchestrating bogus fact checks on just about everything that eventually turns out to be true? Well according to The National Pulse, “Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer Inc. is sponsoring journalism training programs utilized by Facebook to train its “fact-checking” partners and censor stories and posts critical of COVID-19 vaccines.”
Adding further shocking detail to the collaboration, financial ties between Pfizer and Facebook’s fact -checking operation, dating back to at least 2008, revealed a pattern of conflict of interest with several news outlets when it comes to informing and educating the public about health issues that directly affect your health and quality of life.
It’s no wonder why Facebook continues to unfairly censor the truth, as a Real News Aggregator report noted: “The International Center For Journalists (ICFJ) – itself funded by the Open Society Foundations amongst others – is partnered with Meta, Facebook’s parent company, on its “Journalism Project” initiative. In turn, Facebook relies on the journalists funded and trained by ICFJ to “combat misinformation” on its platform through its controversial fact-checking operation.”
Facebook in unison with the ICFJ “have funded news outlets based in Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East with a focus on COVID-19 reporting.” The “Arthur F. Burns Fellowship,” ICFJ’s longest running program produces “German and Canadian journalists who now work as foreign correspondents in 20 countries for well-known news outlets such as The Washington Post, Reuters, CNN, ARD, Deutsche Welle and the Süddeutsche Zeitung,” according to the ICFJ.
Whenever the fact-checkers turn out to be wrong they never face accountability and the damage created by their unethical misinformation is swept under the rug. And now we see why. They are all in bed together with Big Pharma, apparently to distract us all from what’s really happening behind the scenes!
