Humanitarian Crisis at the Border Growing With Record High Migrants

The Biden administration is currently facing a big humanitarian crisis as the number of undocumented migrants reaching the US-Mexico boarder continues to reach levels higher than experienced in the last 20 years. In May alone, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) caught over 180,000 mostly single adult migrants. While VP Kamala and many other Democrats continue to remain delusional about the border crisis, even refusing to visit the border, many reports continue to surface showing footage of cages crowded with child migrants.

US Customs and Border Protection agency data indicates that an increasing number of migrants are coming from outside Central America, including countries like Ecuador, Venezuela, Haiti, and even some African nations. The CBP data also included statistics indicating that the average daily number of children being held in its custody has risen to 640 daily. That number doesn’t include the 16,200 migrant children held by the US health department. Assistant secretary of the US health department, JooYeun Chang said in a BBC interview that the numbers of unaccompanied migrant children since March are “simply unprecedented.”

It’s no question that Biden’s policies on immigration have encouraged this influx of illegal migrants. According to the Washington Post, a recent Biden administration memo now requires US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement to seek authorization from senior managers before seeking to deport certain migrants.
