Senator Ted Cruz introduced the “Cruz Eight Amendment” to address what has become a growing Democrat phenomenon, using billionaire money to buy elections. As a focal point to emphasize the importance of the Cruz Eight Amendment, Cruz highlighted billionaire owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg’s involvement in the 2020 elections.

In 2020 Mark Zuckerberg donated over $350 million dollars to the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL), a non-profit founded by former staffers of a Democrat technology firm. According to Cruz, “Zuckerberg’s money was used to fund election administration across the country, including staff, ballot  scanning machines, equipment to process mail ballots, drive-thru voting locations, drop boxes, and more.”

Describing the partisan manner in which Zuckerberg’s money influenced the 2020 elections Cruz added: “Strikingly it appears that the money was spent in a massively partisan manner to drive up Democratic turnout…” Quoting from a report conducted by Capital Research Center, Cruz noted that “across-the-board CTCL’s grants favored the biggest most vote rich Democratic counties which helped turn out the most left-leaning voters in U.S. history.”

Pointing out another egregious example of CTCL’s partisan spending driven by Zuckerberg money, Cruz quoted another report from the Capital Research Center which revealed that “CTCL funded 8 of the 10 most populous counties in Texas. The two that did not receive  ‘Zuck Bucks’, Colin and Denton County, were the only two of the ten states that President Trump won!”

Summarizing the conclusion of these findings and noting how this may have altered the outcome of the 2020 election, Senator Cruz explained that the Cruz Eight Amendment will create a task force to examine the impact of Zuckerberg’s $350 million and the extent to which it was spent in an overtly partisan manner.

Do you think this was election interference, or not?
