NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Tells Church Members: “The Unvaccinated Aren’t Listening to God”

According to a report published in The Western Journal, on Sunday the first female governor of New York, Kathy Hochul stood before the Christian Cultural Center, a Brooklyn evangelical megachurch, encouraging all in attendance “be my apostles” in efforts to promote New York’s vaccine mandate agenda. Hochul told the church members that the unvaccinated individuals “aren’t listening to God and what God wants,” while implying:  "Jesus taught us to love one another. And how do you show that love but to care about each other enough to say, 'Please get the vaccine because I love you and I want you to live,'" according to a News Max report.

The Sept. 27 deadline for all healthcare workers in New York to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, which was issued by former Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Aug. 16, appears to be the motivation behind Houchul’s current efforts to push forward in New York’s vaccine mandate agenda. According to the AM Metro NY, Hochul stated on Monday that she would be signing an executive order “to deploy the National Guard and to bring healthcare workers from out-of-state in case of staff shortages at hospitals and other care facilities due to an impending vaccine mandate deadline.

Meanwhile, thousands of protesters are taking a stand all around various sites in New York City, as well as upstate, demanding the government to repeal mandatory vaccination orders for certain categories of workers and the ‘passport’ system implemented in NYC, according to one New York news source (Videos of Protest).
