Manhattan Court Blocks Mayor Bill de Blasio’s New York Vaccine Mandate
On Monday Dec. 6th Judge Frank P. Nervo of the Supreme Court of New York suspended Bill de Blasio’s vaccine mandate, pending a hearing which is scheduled for December 14, according to a recent Trending Politics report. Judge Nervo’s ruling followed Blasio’s announcement requiring private-sector workers to be vaccinated by Dec. 27, a policy which would affect about 184,000 businesses, according to a New York Times report.
Blasio’s mandate also included vaccine proof for indoor dining, fitness and entertainment for children ages 5 to 11, beginning Dec. 14. We’ve got the colder weather which is going to really create additional challenges with the delta variant, we’ve got holiday gatherings."
Yet, no official data has been released about the omicron variant warranting de Blasio’s extreme mandate measures. (Read full story HERE)
