Biden’s DOJ “Arctic Frost” FBI Operation Documents Reveal Extensive Investigation to Take Down President Trump and His Supporters

The FBI's "Arctic Frost" operation may have captured over 150 Republican officials, campaign operatives, and Trump supporters, according to the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday. Lawmakers are describing the case as one of the most extensive political investigations the Biden Justice Department has ever conducted. According to materials reviewed by Just the News, recently released documents—nearly 200 pages of internal FBI and DOJ communications—reveal a comprehensive investigation that started under FBI Director Chris Wray and was extended under Special Counsel Jack Smith, with full consent from Attorney General Merrick Garland and then-Deputy AG Lisa Monaco.

An officer from the Washington Field Office thanked several regional offices for their "assistance with Arctic Frost interviews" in an email dated May 2022, but another cautioned that "everything connected to this is restricted" within FBI software. The Arctic Frost team requested approximately $16,600 in DOJ funds in June to cover travel for "over 40 interviews," subpoenas, and various device search warrants, according to other internal papers. The alleged targets included Republican politicians from Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, and New Mexico.

Another 111 people, including Trump advisers Dan Scavino and Peter Navarro, former DOJ official Jeff Rosen, and current "weaponization czar" Ed Martin, were "potentially under investigation" as part of the same operation, according to the Judiciary Committee. Subpoena_Counsel_Matrix, a file from September 2022, had dozens of GOP activists, state electors, and public officials connected to challenges in the 2020 election.

Wray, Garland, and Monaco individually approved the initiation of the Arctic Frost probe, according to documents supplied by Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, who has conducted his investigation into DOJ overreach. Grassley said this finding "proves unchecked government power was unleashed at the highest levels." In the meantime, 26 House Republicans have signed a formal letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi calling for a criminal inquiry into Jack Smith for "severe Fourth Amendment violations" connected to the operation.

In a related development, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino described how Smith's team kept tabs on the phone records of other Republican senators, such as Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Josh Hawley of Missouri. The Arctic Frost documents, according to House Republicans, support their long-held suspicion that the Biden DOJ used federal law enforcement as a weapon against political rivals, using the pretext of "public corruption" to support a partisan fishing expedition.

An email from the FBI's Washington Field Office said, "The Arctic Frost team is asking PCU [Public Corruption Unit] for about $16,600 for travel in June to do more than 40 interviews, serve subpoenas, and carry out several search warrants on cell phones." The document that came with this email listed dozens of GOP-affiliated officials from Arizona, Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico.
