Another Democrat Witch Hunt Exposed: Tax Agency Shows Trump is Owed $1M Tax Refund
As many expected, yet another attempted witch hunt by the Democrats has failed! Despite the Democrat’s attempts to create suspicion surrounding President Trump’s tax returns, an Illinois tax agency recently ruled that the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump is actually owed a $1 million refund on his Chicago skyscraper.
According to the Chicago Sun, “President Trump paid too much on his 2011 tax bill after the value of Trump International Hotel and Tower’s rooms and retail space was over assessed by the Cook County Board of Review. As a result, the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board ruled that President Trump is owed $1.03 million which would come from property taxes due to the city and other government agencies.
According to Business Insider, the Cook County State’s Attorney office has since filed a lawsuit to block the refund. When reached by Insider, the State’s Attorney’s office said it was unable to comment on pending litigation.
Trump cautioned that ongoing attacks on Immigration and Customs Enforcement could result in the Insurrection Act being used in a post on Truth Social on Thursday. He said that local authorities have neglected to defend federal officers performing their legal duty.
