HEARTBREAKING.... THE CAUSE OF ERIN MORAN OF HAPPY DAYS DEATH

Authorities have confirmed that Erin Moran, the popular actress who played the kid-sister role in the sitcom “Happy Days” died of cancer.

Eric Moran’s unresponsive body was found on Saturday 22nd of April by Indiana authorities and it was confirmed that she did not have any illegal drugs at home.

It has since been confirmed that the former movie star died of throat cancer, an ailment that was diagnosed only five months ago

A joint statement by Sheriff Rod Seelye and Coroner Gary Gilley reads, “A subsequent autopsy revealed that Mrs. [sic] Moran likely succumbed to complications of stage 4 cancer”

“Standard toxicology tests were performed and the results are pending however no illegal narcotics were found at the residence.”

Relatives and friends of Eric Moran confirmed that before her death, she was receiving treatment and undergoing chemotherapy. Paul Petersen who played Jeff Stone in “The Donna Reed Show” said “She was in treatment and it was not going well” 

Ms. Erin Moran started her acting career at the very tender age of 5. She enjoyed successful spells on television and in films in the late 1960s and early ’70s.  It was at the age of 12 that she got her biggest role and one that would eventually propel her to stardom when she played the role of Joanie, the sister of Richie Cunningham.  The show ‘Happy Days’ was aired for10 years and the end of it marked the beginning of what would eventually become a steady decline in the acting career of Erin Moran. Moran was only 22 when the show ended.

Erin Moran was born on October 18, 1960 in Burbank, California. Moran and her five siblings were raised in North Hollywood by their parents Sharon and Edward Moran.
