AARON HERNANDEZ LEFT 3 SUICIDE NOTES
Three notes were found in Aaron Hernandez’s cell at Massachusetts' Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center. Initially Prison officials claimed the former Football player left no suicide notes behind. Aaron Hernandez’s death was confirmed to be a suicide by the state medical examiner on Thursday.
According to a statement from Worcester District Attorney, handwritten notes were found next to a Bible in the cell. Reports has it that one of the notes was addressed to his daughter, another to Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez (his fiancée), and the third to his alleged prison boyfriend. Michel McPhee of Newsweek also revealed that Hernandez left his bible open to John 3:16 in his prison cell. He also wrote the bible verse on his forehead with red ink.
Aaron Hernandez, 27, was born in Bristol, Connecticut and he played college football at the University of Florida. He was also a tight end for the New England Patriots. Aaron’s body was found at 3:05 a.m. on Wednesday after he hanged himself with a bed sheet that was attached to a window in his cell.
Until his death, Aaron Hernandez was serving a life jail term after he was convicted of killing Odin L. Lloyd in 2013. Lloyd was dating the sister of Aaron Hernandez’s fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins. Odin Lloyd’s body was found by a jogger in a pit at an industrial park close to Aaron Hernandez’s home in North Attleboro. Aaron Hernandez was found guilty in April 2015 and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Aaron Hernandez has also been found guilty of drug-related issues in the past.
A judge issued an order to preserve evidence from death of Aaron Hernandez. The family is expected to sue the correction facility for negligence. Hernandez had not been check on by prison officials from 8pm the night before his death until he was found hanging in his cell.
Aaron Hernandez is survived by his little daughter and his fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez.
