CDC Director Walensky’s Husband Receives $5 Million in HHS Grants

Cashing in on her new position as the Director of Centers for Disease Control, Rochelle Walensky’s husband Loren D. Walensky, pediatric oncology researcher, was awarded $5.3million of a $16.9 million HHS grant for a company that has been in operation for less than a year. And get this, prior to receiving the grant, the company (Lytica Therapeutics)  had no other stream of funding, according to a Crunchbase data report.

We all can recall how vigorously the left-wing swamp dwellers harassed President Trump with allegations of enriching himself and his family during his entire time in office. Yet, we have yet to see accountability for Hunter Biden’s travels at the American taxpayer’s expense, or his alleged current money laundering art scam being carried out under the guise of his father’s influence!

But wait! That ain’t all! According to a RedState, a conservative news site dedicated to holding big government accountable, an exclusive article exposed these details about the grant:

“The grant was funded and organized by the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees and administers the Biomedical Advanced and Development Authority (BARDA) program, which is similar to the PREDICT program at the center of Wuhan Institute of Virology gain-of-function research controversy.

“Interestingly, BARDA also has teamed up with the Wellcome Group, headed by Jeremy Farrar, who many of you may remember was a signer of the Peter Daszak organized Lancet letter, which sought to debunk the now-legitimized Wuhan Lab-Leak Theory of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.”

Was it a coincidence that Walensky’s husband received the grant from HHS after his wife had been associated with HHS for more than a decade at the time his company was awarded the grant? And guess who served alongside Dr. “Flip-Flop Anthony Fauci as chair to the Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council and also the US Department of Health and Human Services Panel on Antiretroviral Guidelines for Adults and Adolescents? You guessed it: Rochelle Walensky! It’s no surprise that Walensky’s appointment as the new CDC director had a lot to do with Fauci’s recommendation!

Not only did Walensky fail to report the conflict of interest related to her husband’s company upon taking office, right in harmony with Democrat legacy, she joined the ranks of other Democrat swamp dwellers who continue to enrich themselves at the expense of American taxpayers!
